BFI Film Academy returns for it’s 9th year with academies open for applications in Nerve Centre Derry-Londonderry, Nerve Belfast and Amma Centre Armagh
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Academies will offer blended learning through online classes and in venue training sessions in adherence with government guidelines regarding Coronavirus.
BFI Film Academy offers students an opportunity to work in teams to write, produce and direct original short films in an industry focused environment. Students have the opportunity to attend masterclasses with guest professionals during the course to enhance their learning and gain an insight into the realities of working in film.
Participants study all aspects of film, mentored by award winning figures from the Screen Industries. Throughout the course you will also have the opportunity to completed the Level 2 NCFE in Preparing to Work in the Film Industry. BFI Film Academy is essential for any young person aged 16-19 years interested in working in the Screen Industries.
