Take A First Step into Animation in BELFAST this Halloween!
If you have an interest in Animation and would like to learn more about the local Animation industry, the Foundation for Animation Academy is offering a Three day introductory programme in Belfast this Halloween, Free of charge.
Participants will learn Animation techniques from several of Northern Ireland’s leading Animators, including Alastair McIlwain whose Credits include Pink Floyd:The Wall…and the Classic TV Series “Roobarb”.
Also taking part in these Workshops will be John McCloskey, three times winner of the award for Best Animation at the Celtic Media Festival.
There will an opportunity to Design and bring your own Animation Character to life. The Three day programme will include a Studio Visit to one of Northern Ireland’s leading Animation Studios where you will gain a first hand insight into the various Careers available in our local Animation industry.
This exciting Halloween Animation programme with take place November 2-4, between 11.00 and 16.30 each day, in Nerve Centre’s spacious new premises in The Learning Centre, Odyssey Pavilion, Belfast. Applications are invited from anyone aged 16-19 with an interest in Animation.
