Our Winter Northern Ireland Screen Academies VFX Academy programme is offering an opportunity for your Pupils Aged 16-19 to help to take part in the intensive Production and Post Production of a short Film creating, right here in Derry/Londonderry, a Zombie Apocalypse – straight from the World of The Walking Dead.
We are recruiting Two Groups of Participants to participate in, and assist with, this Production.
1: PRACTICAL SFX MAKE UP
The First Group will concentrate on learning Practical SFX Make Up & Prosthetics techniques with Christian Kotey who has worked on number of Film and TV series including The Walking Dead. This will take place over four days including the day of the Shoot.
This exciting SFX Winter VFX Academy programme (Both training and Film Shoot) will be located in Nerve Centre, at Magazine Street, Derry/Londonderry with:

2: DIGITAL VISUAL EFFECTS
A Second Group are going to be undertaking four days of Visual Effects Techniques training (including the day of the Shoot) with Niall Carlin of Double Jump Studios to bring the Visual Effects needed to augment the Film footage, bringing the scenes to life.
